In 2008, Paul D. House accepted the position of Executive Chairman at Tim Hortons allowing him to focus on corporate strategy, franchisee relations and Board leadership. He is also a current member of the Board of Directors of the Tim Horton Children's Foundation, and he serves on the Advisory Board of the Brock University Business School.
Mr. House joined Tim Hortons as Vice President of Marketing in 1985. During his tenure with Tim Hortons Mr. House held increasingly senior positions including Chief Operating Officer (1993), President and Chief Operating Officer (1995), Chief Executive Officer (2005) and Chairman of the Board (2007).
Mr. House served on the Board of Directors of Wendy's International, Inc. from 1998 through February 1, 2007.
Mr. House holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from McMaster University.
Donald B. Schroeder President and
Chief Executive Officer
Donald B. Schroeder was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of Tim Hortons and a member of the THI Board of Directors in 2008.
Since joining Tim Hortons in 1991, he has held several positions within the Company including Executive Vice President of Administration responsible for Human Resources, Distribution, Legal, Real Estate and Construction and Manufacturing and Vice President of Human Resources and International Development. Upon the separation of the company from Wendy's, Mr. Schroeder also assumed the role of General Counsel, Corporate Secretary, and Chief Compliance Officer. Mr. Schroeder also served as the President of the Tim Horton Children's Foundation from 1991 to 2008.
Mr. Schroeder holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Western Ontario and a Master of Laws degree from Osgoode Hall Law School.
David F. Clanachan Chief Operations Officer,
U.S. and International
David F. Clanachan was appointed Chief Operations Officer, United States and International in March 2008.
Mr. Clanachan joined The TDL Group Corp. in 1992 and held various positions in the Operations Department including Vice President, Operations – Western Ontario. In August 2001, he was promoted to the position of Executive Vice President, Training, Operations Standards and Research & Development, and was accountable for the development of new product concepts/improvements and the direction of the Training Centre.
At the age of 14, Mr. Clanachan took interest in Tim Hortons and worked at store level in customer service. He eventually went on to manage multiple stores while attending the University of Windsor.
Currently, Mr. Clanachan is the Tim Hortons operations lead in the joint venture with Aryzta AG, formerly IAWS Group plc. He is also a member of the Canadian Hospitality Foundation Board of Directors and serves on the Policy Advisory Board at the University of Guelph – School of Hospitality and Tourism.
Mr. Clanachan holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Windsor.

Cynthia J. Devine Chief Financial Officer
Cynthia Devine joined Tim Hortons in 2003 as Chief Financial Officer. In this role, she has executive accountability for leading the Company's financial organization including accounting, financial reporting, tax, financial planning and analysis, treasury, internal audit and investor relations. In addition, Mrs. Devine has executive responsibility for information technology and the Company's manufacturing operations and vertical integration strategy.
Mrs. Devine developed the infrastructure, processes and capabilities necessary to successfully lead the Company through its Initial Public Offering in 2006. Today, Tim Hortons is the fourth largest publicly-traded quick service restaurant chain in North America based on market capitalization and the largest in Canada.
Mrs. Devine was awarded the honour as Canadian Chief Financial Officer of the Year in 2009 for her leadership.
She is a Chartered Accountant and has served in senior executive positions for Maple Leaf Foods and Pepsi-Cola Canada.
John M. Hemeon Executive Vice President,
Supply Chain
John Hemeon joined Tim Hortons in April 2009 as Executive Vice-President, Supply Chain.
In this role, Mr. Hemeon is responsible for the supply chain infrastructure and operations of Tim Hortons including distribution, transportation, and food and packaging purchasing.
Prior to joining Tim Hortons, Mr. Hemeon worked at Sysco Food Service, where he held a variety of senior leadership roles over many years in supply chain operations, business development, merchandising, marketing and warehousing. Most recently, he was Executive Vice-President.
Mr. Hemeon has a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Guelph.
Stephen A. Johnston Senior Vice President,
Development
In March 2008, Stephen A. Johnston was name to the Senior Management team following his promotion in 2006 to Senior Vice-President, Development. In this capacity, Mr. Johnston is responsible for the Real Estate, Construction Design, Equipment Purchasing, Property Management and Facilities functions for the Tim Hortons chain.
Mr. Johnston joined Tim Hortons in July 1995 as Corporate Counsel for Atlantic Canada. In 1998, he assumed additional accountability for Operations and was promoted to Director, Atlantic Canada Operations. He was promoted to Regional Vice President, Atlantic Operations, in 2004.
Mr. Johnston was admitted to the Nova Scotia Barristers Society in August 1986, holds a Bachelor of Law from the University of New Brunswick and a Bachelor of Commerce from Mount Allison University.
William A. Moir Chief Brand and
Marketing Officer
In March 2008, William A. Moir was appointed Chief Brand and Marketing Officer and President of the Tim Horton Children's Foundation. Mr. Moir joined Tim Hortons in 1990 as Vice President of Marketing and was promoted to Executive Vice President of Marketing in 1997.
Prior to joining Tim Hortons, Mr. Moir gained extensive marketing management experience, holding key positions with K-Tel, Shell Oil and Labatt Breweries. In addition to his role at Tim Hortons, Mr. Moir is a Director and past Chairman of the Coffee Association of Canada.
Mr. Moir holds an Honours Business degree from the University of Manitoba.

Brigid V. Pelino was appointed Senior Vice President, Human Resources in March 2008. Ms. Pelino joined Tim Hortons in 2001 as Vice President, Human Resources, with responsibility for all aspects of Human Resource strategy for both Canada and the United States.
Prior to joining the Company, Ms. Pelino worked in increasingly senior level Human Resource positions for Canadian Tire Corporation, Honeywell International and General Electric.
Ms. Pelino holds a Honours Bachelors degree in Economics and Accounting and a Masters degree in Industrial Relations, both from the University of Toronto.
R. Scott Toop Executive Vice President and

Scott Toop joined Tim Hortons in August 2009 as Executive Vice President and General Counsel.
In this role, Mr. Toop is responsible for the company's legal affairs.
Prior to joining Tim Hortons, Mr. Toop held a variety of executive positions with Yum! Brands, Inc. and PepsiCo, Inc., where he had broad domestic and international legal responsibilities.
Mr. Toop has both his J.D and M.B.A. from Duke University in North Carolina.

Roland M. Walton was appointed Chief Operations Officer, Canada in March 2008. He joined Tim Hortons in 1997 as Executive Vice President of Operations, responsible for operations in both Canada and the U.S.
Mr. Walton's restaurant industry experience includes Wendy's Canada, Pizza Hut® Canada and Pizza Hut USA. In 1995 Mr. Walton held the position of Division Vice President for Pizza Hut USA's Central Division.
Mr. Walton holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Guelph.
